IgniteOS Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to IgniteOS, an online venture platform operated by IgniteOS Venture Studio and accessible via app.igniteos.tech.
IgniteOS collects only the information needed to authenticate users, evaluate venture submissions, provide platform features, process payments, and improve security. If you sign in with Google, we only receive basic profile information such as your name, email address, and profile image.
1. Personal data we collect
- Account information, including name, email address, password login data, and profile image.
- Venture information you submit, such as idea descriptions, scan results, venture status, strategy inputs, and related business metadata.
- Business onboarding details you voluntarily provide, such as company name, KVK number, phone number, and budget information.
- Technical and usage data needed to operate the platform securely, such as IP address, browser type, device data, login timestamps, and security events.
- Billing and subscription information required to manage paid access and payment status.
2. Google OAuth and Google user data
If you choose to sign in with Google, IgniteOS accesses only the basic Google account data made available through standard sign-in scopes:
- Name
- Email address
- Profile picture
- Google account identifier required for authentication
IgniteOS uses this Google user data only to authenticate you, create or match your account, personalize your account profile, and protect account security.
IgniteOS does not request or access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, Google Calendar, or any other restricted Google service data.
IgniteOS does not sell Google user data, use Google user data for advertising, or transfer Google user data to data brokers or unrelated third parties.
3. How we use personal data
- To create, secure, and manage your IgniteOS account.
- To run venture scans, generate reports, and provide AI-assisted recommendations.
- To manage subscriptions, payments, and access permissions.
- To communicate operational messages such as account activation, login, support, and product notices.
- To detect abuse, prevent fraud, and maintain platform security.
- To comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
4. Legal basis
We process personal data under one or more of the following GDPR legal bases: consent, performance of a contract, legitimate interests, and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Storage and security
IgniteOS stores data on protected infrastructure with access controls, encrypted connections, and security monitoring. We limit access to authorized personnel and service providers who need the data to operate the service.
6. Sharing of data
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited data with essential service providers that support hosting, authentication, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, and security operations, but only as necessary to operate IgniteOS.
7. Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active, your venture data is needed for service delivery, or retention is required for security, billing, or legal compliance. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period.
8. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of your personal data, subject to applicable law. You may also revoke Google account access at any time through Google Account Permissions.
